This position is responsible for providing administrative decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning involving the efficient and productive use of personnel, material, and financial resources in multi-specialty ambulatory services in addition to the Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, ENT, and Surgery outpatient clinics. The incumbent is also responsible for the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems and is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care that ensure quality.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Requires Master's degree in Health or Business related field; BSN in Nursing with current licensure in the state of Indiana preferred.
  • Requires progressive ambulatory care experience.
  • Requires a minimum of ten years of management experience in a health care setting.
  • Requires management experience in a procedural setting.
  • Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Requires ability to lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
  • Requires ability to facilitate and lead work groups.
  • Requires ability to apply Clarian personnel policies and procedures.
  • Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires ability to communicate sensitive issues with all levels of employees/management.
  • Requires strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
  • Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal; problem-solving; and analytical skills.
