This role will be responsible for leadership of
the design, development, testing and deployment of data warehouse, data
mart and reporting solutions. This person will work closely with various
functional teams to translate business requirements into optimized data
storage and reporting systems.
This leadership position develops and implements
systems to meet the information reporting needs of the business,
including Data Warehouses, Decision Support systems and other Reporting
Systems. This position will also contribute to the development of the
data warehouse strategy including being involved in project management
of initiatives, all phases of the systems development life cycle;
resolution of issues with existing systems; and providing technical
guidance to other team members.

- Steering the data architecture design and review processes,
including planning and monitoring efforts, reviewing deliverables
and communicating with stakeholders
- Leading creative approaches to problem solving, as well as the
development of quality deliverables, supporting Enterprise Data
Architecture strategic initiatives
- Develop the strategy for a comprehensive, integrated approach to
mortgage servicer reporting through the integrated development of
the tools, information and analytics
- Advise management and keep them informed on issues related to
IT.
- Ensure that service level targets are met and address all
service level complaints.
- Champion corporate values and culture throughout the
organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technology
- Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and
retention for the data warehouse
- Define areas of improvement to optimize data flows
- Identify strategy for data acquisition and archival
- Study and recommend technology products that will provide a
real, solid benefit to the company through improvements to processes
and systems.
- Develop and implement a vision for corporate Business
Intelligence
- Manage the data systems development life cycle to maximize its
value to the company.
- Develop and maintain functional expertise in the following
disciplines; database architecture, integrated business
intelligence, KPI definition, analytical tools, techniques, and
other infrastructure requirements
- Assist the business community in developing, implementing and
maintaining appropriate and insightful dashboards/reports to measure
effectiveness and provide insights to help grow the business
- Codify and publish formal analytic and reporting frameworks and
methodologies
- Identify new data information sources to drive reporting and
analytics effectiveness
- Partner with the functional business owners to coordinate and
develop key management reports and tools to support operational and
analytical requirements
- Apply various quantitative methods to analyze and interpret
information from multiple data sources
- Support ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
- Identify data sources / process flows and design/execute data
processes including data validation, data cleansing, data
manipulation and analysis
Operations
- Develop and train personnel to increase analytic and reporting
capabilities and set the foundation to meet requirements of future
offerings.
- Develop and evolve the departments toolset and offerings in line
with business demands, including the introduction of new and
innovative solutions
- Manage and maintain all system processes (operations) that are
integral to the company's ability to conduct its daily business.
- Manage, development and support managers to ensure on-time and
within-budget completion of projects.
- Identify process improvement and profit opportunities through
rigorous data analysis and partner with business owners to implement
the improvements
- Establish, maintain and promote consistent methodology for
analytics deployment
- Proactively investigate data issues and ensure on-going
reporting data integrity
Staff Management
- Assist internal teams with data analysis, manipulation and
communication of results to the appropriate levels
- Create quarterly and yearly objectives for all staff that
supports the company's strategic business initiative and objectives.
- Provide training initiatives for all staff to improve skills and
allow career advancement.
- Insure that the all IT departments carry out all IT requests
with a high degree of efficiency, holding the customer's need in the
highest regard.
- Conduct performance reviews for all staff at least once a year.
Planning and Budget
- Plan and implement strategies for meeting data management needs,
organizing and managing projects to implement data solutions
- Ensure 100% pass rate on all audits (operations and software)
Miscellaneous
- Work with all managers and departments to ensure the smooth
operation of the company, assisting with all projects and requests
as necessary.
- Communicate with business managers the schedule for system
events.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all
staff.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Keep up to date on current hardware, software and telecom
trends.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has direct responsibility for data
and reporting groups. The Data Services Manager reports to the AVP of
Data Services. The position coordinates with other IT management
to ensure a quality performance of all technology for the business unit
supported.
