Job Description:
The Director, Annual Campaigns & Development Operations provides leadership and
guidance for the Office of Development on revenue generating strategies related
to operational activities and direct response. This includes but not limited to
goal setting, projections, market analysis, incentives and establishing and
maintaining quality reports for the development team and development functions
association-wide. Functions include, but are not limited to, the quality and
integrity of data and reports; ensuring systems are established and followed to
increase efficiencies with reporting; represents the Office of Development on
numerous committees and special projects; oversees budget monitoring, meeting
management and material design, and the direct response team.
Additional Responsibilities Will Include:
*Completes ad hoc requests and projects as requested by management
*Analyzes and evaluates data requests and determines source for generation and
generates reports
*Represents Development on numerous project teams, committees, task forces, etc.
*Designs reports to support annual campaign activities
*Supervises Direct Response team, reporting team, Digital Fundraising, Data
Warehouse and materials development staff
*Consulted on regarding fundraising policies, legal issues, sponsorship forms,
*Participates in direct response strategy meetings

Experience:
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and background:
*Bachelor's degree required
*5+ years proven experience in a similar role
*Possess strong consultation and problem solving skills
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines
*Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications
*Skilled in written and oral communications
*Interact professionally with all levels of staff, volunteers, professionals and
the general public
*Work independently and make appropriate, effective decisions related to project
management responsibilities and to initiate and follow-up on assigned tasks
without supervision
*Anticipate and respond to customer needs; self starter and customer service
oriented
*Ability to work evenings/weekends and approximately travel 5% when necessary
