Executive Director – Maryland location
Description
Our client is seeking an Executive Director for their Maryland market.
This Senior Leadership position directs the strategic development, growth, and
operations of the site in providing innovative care to the frail elderly.
Overall goals of this position are to meet revenue, membership and operating
income objectives, develop appropriate provider networks/contracts, and create a
successful, collaborative team of people to achieve these goals.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Effectively develop strategic goals and turn those goals into specific
operating and business plans that are executed at the local Health Plan.
2. Provide leadership, direction, and skill development to direct reports (i.e.
Health Services Director, Medical Director, Sales Director, and Director of
Network Development). Ensure appropriate prioritization of initiatives and
good personnel management.
3. Develop the appropriate product, marketing, clinical, and operating
strategies to maximize revenue and profit of ISNP.
4. Develop marketing plans to enhance company and product awareness, direct the
sales team to maximize gross adds, optimize the service area, and, develop
collaborative relationships with key partners.
5. Through the Local Clinical Team, and with the collaboration with Corporate
Medical Services, provide for the appropriate coordination and delivery of
medical care within the benefit structure.
6. Develop a network strategy, and work to develop and contract with the
providers.
7. Establish and maintain on-going relationships with key physicians,
hospitals, long-term care facilities, Area Aging Agencies, and other pertinent
providers.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships within the community, including
providers, business partners, and community alliances, etc.
9. Manage client relationship management, including the development and
implementation of strategic partnerships for growth initiatives.
10. Promote a positive image of the Co. with local providers, state regulators,
and customers.
11. Ensure regulatory compliance.
12. Review Medical Expense drivers and create plans to reduce waste and increase
the affordability of our products.
13. As an Executive Director, serve as the leader of a national initiative,
representing all ISNP EDs.
Qualifications
·
Degree in business administration, health care administration, and a MBA
preferred
·
10 + years Operations experience in a Medicare industry, at-risk managed care
environment
·
Long term care or nursing home experience a plus
·
Previous P&L or substantial budgetary experience required
·
Experience in strategic planning and development
·
Demonstrated successful leadership skills in program execution and people
management
·
Proven leadership skills in both internal and external environments
· Ability to execute to short and long term growth and profitability targets
