The Community
Bank Market President will assume personal responsibility for
meeting and exceeding all performance objectives related to
sales, referrals, profitability, and expense management for the Fort Walton, FL market. Aggressively market
financial solutions with a goal of winning new clients and
expanding existing relationships. Conduct relationship reviews
with business and affluent customers and prospects, and
identify, sell or refer appropriate financial solutions
including credit products, deposit products, private client
products and services, investment products, insurance services,
and financial planning. Develop prospects by making consultative
sales calls, qualifying prospects, and converting prospects to
clients.
Develop and
maintain effective referral sources. Develop and maintain a
strong working knowledge of all relevant Wachovia products and
services. Coordinate with Loan Administration Portfolio
Management to support the quality, profitability, and managed
risk exposure of the loan portfolio. Aid in strategically
assessing the risk profile of relationships and help define risk
management guidelines and relationship plans accordingly.
Participate in community development activities that materially
contribute to business development efforts. Partner with other
Wachovia employees within the market to ensure a uniform,
consistent and effective approach to community involvement.
Partner with regional leadership and corporate contributions to
maximize the effectiveness of corporate giving within the
community. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Community Bankers
within the market, as well as motivate the entire local employee
base. Set strategies and deploy tactics that will ensure team
performance, targets and goals are met. The market's complete
general ledger performance will be the responsibility of the
Community Market president.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: Must have undergraduate degree or
equivalent banking leadership experience. Minimum of eight years
banking industry experience. Business, commercial or corporate
lending experience, specifically focusing on partner products
and processes, retail bank, investments, commercial, corporate,
private client. Demonstrated solution based sales experience in
the financial services industry. Preferred Qualifications:
Currently lives in, has lived in, or has ties to the Fort Walton market.
Experience in commercial
banking, retail banking and/or private banking highly desired.
