Materials Management Functional Excellence Director

Job Description
The Materials Management Functional Excellence Director is responsible
for Material Management process/sub-processes and directs adoption of functional
excellence globally; develops the work processes for global operations in
accordance with appropriate regulations and laws; and ensures Materials
Management functional excellence by maintaining a systematic, sustainable,
reliable, cost/tax efficient and compliant approach to supply chain activities
with the optimum levels of inventory supported by documented work processes,
associated systems and training.
Responsibilities may include:

Lead the development and implementation of global functional
standards and key procedures, framework and management of change
efforts. Through effective influence management, lead the change
management efforts to implement the new work processes for
global operation

Lead a global project that addresses gaps in policies,
accounting procedures, technology utilization, process
standardization and effectiveness, performance measurement and
skill set development. Deliver recommendations and an
implementation plan that drive the materials management function
to an ideal state for

Guide and facilitate compliance with Materials Management
policies in alignment with Corporate and governmental
regulations

Maintain the overall delivery framework within which GPS
operates e.g. Materials Management Operating Model:

10+ years of change leadership

3+ years of Supply Chain expertise

3+ years demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all
levels in the organization

3+ years demonstrated technical competence in project execution
