• General Job Family Description:

Primary Global Real Estate () contact for workspace needs capture, validation and specification management at the global and  region levels. Liaises with business and function management to understand business workplace strategy and changing needs of the workforce.    May be assigned to ownership role for personal or shared workspace and should be familiar with external best practices for space design and solution options for given job roles and/or space types.

Develops and adjusts strategies to implement business and   objectives.    Works with customers, suppliers, and other  organizations to ensure compliance with specifications and to maintain specifications that best service business requirements.  Retains focus on innovation and develops and implements process improvements to increase quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction and decrease operating costs. Responsible for ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with regulatory, local legal compliance and HP policy requirements.

Specific Job Expectations:

Responsible for delivering business value to our  customers and across  by specifying solutions for  work space that address customers' business problems, needs, and opportunities in a manner consistent with The Co’s strategic workplace goals. 

Applies knowledge of specification frameworks, methodologies, and tools to successfully inform customer expectations as well as drive consistent implementation of personal work space solutions.

Establishes and maintains a professional working relationship at multiple levels both within  and with our customers in The Co’s Business Units and Global Functions by understanding their business context and unique situations.

Collaborates with both internal and external industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to facilitate the definition and further development of personal work space specifications.  Uses the knowledge and best practices derived from their professional associations to benefit 's customers.

Collaborates with  Project Management and Delivery to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, and ongoing operational support is provided for personal work space solutions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university dee or equivalent experience; advanced university dee preferred.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in a business or facilities-related function.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills; effective listening and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate workplace needs into valid workplace solution options.
• Six Sigma en Belt certification and/or specification management experience preferred. 
• Expert computer and analytic skills.
• Advanced project and program management skills; ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of program costs and financial impacts.
• Expertise in quality methodologies (e.g. lean 6-sigma).
