the Chemicals
Operations group
in Dallas, TX.
This role.
provides expert
financial,
information
technology, and
human resource
support to core
businesses
engaged in oil
and gas
exploration and
production, and
commodity
chemicals
manufacturing.
These positions
are in our
headquarters
office providing
support to the
chemical
business and is
conveniently
located in the
north Dallas
area.
ESSENTIAL JOB
DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Plant
Accounting
2. Sales and
Inventory
Accounting
3. Work closely
with Plant
Controllers and
Business
Analysis
4. Provide
support for
annual audits,
government and
tax reporting
and SOX
documentation
and testing
5. Reconcile
balance sheet
accounts,
including
inventory at
numerous
locations
6. Prepare
account analysis
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
INCLUDE:
1. B.S. degree
in Accounting
2. Two-to-ten
years of
professional
accounting
experience
3. Experience
with Standard
Cost System
4. At least 2
years'
experience with
a manufacturing
company
5. Understanding
of various
Inventory
Valuation
methods - LIFO,
FIFO, LCM and
Profit
Elimination
6. Demonstrated
proficiency with
Excel
7. Excellent
interpersonal
and
communication
skills
ADDITIONAL
DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
INCLUDE:
1. SAP
experience very
desirable
2. MBA or CPA is
a plus
