| System Director Pharmacy Services |
Responsible for coordinating the clinical and operating functions of the pharmacy services throughout the Health system including the purchasing and dispensing of pharmaceuticals/supplies, managing pharmacy employees and department staffing, developing and implementing policies and procedures related to medication management, monitoring quality indicators, administering the department budget, and responsible for the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other clinical areas and emerging delivery systems.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited college of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm D degree required.
A Masters degree in Pharmacy Administration or related field is preferred.
Licensed or eligible for license as a Pharmacist in the state of Indiana required.
Minimum 5 years progressive hospital pharmacy management experience preferred.
PGY1 and PGY2 ASHP accredited residency training preferred.
Evidence of leadership in pharmacy practice and professional organizations required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good working knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare informatics and automation, and healthcare finances required.
