Job Description:
The Vice-President Marketing will be a
seasoned marketing professional who, in coordination with the
Global Marketing function, will have regional responsibilities to:

Lead customer related marketing
strategies and systems.
-
Analyze markets and key customers
within them for attractiveness and profit potential and develop
plans to serve them.
-
Develop specific growth plans for
our core markets, including account targets, value propositions,
and selling tools for original equipment plus service offerings.
-
Gather market intelligence - Track
industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics.
Direct all quantitative and qualitative market research,
including surveys, focus groups, and insight reports.
-
Serve as a key member of the
management team involved in providing competitive market
analysis and driving the overall strategic vision of the
company.

Customer profiling including
identification of needs and preferences
-
Customer service and experience
management.
-
Manager the Marketing Function
-
Internal communications and sharing
of best practices
-
Develop and manage Marketing talent
throughout the region
-
Develop and manage the Marketing
budget
-
Develop and execute the Marketing plan
-
Program planning
-
Campaign management
-
Marketing communications - Lead the
development of strategic programs to build awareness of Tyco
Flow Controls’ leadership position as the world’s largest
manufacturer of valves and controls.

Define Brand Strategy/ Portfolio
management
-
Brand building - Manage brand
consistency by developing, defining, and executing long and
short-term worldwide marketing/branding strategies for all
revenue producing activities.

Pricing/Product management - Oversee
development of pricing strategies and structures to ensure
profitability across all product lines
-
Portfolio management
-
Business and product development -
Identify new business and revenue streams
Requirements:
-
Minimum five years marketing experience,
specifically managing all aspects of marketing, including PR, direct
marketing, branding strategy, and business development support in
the industry. Minimum three
years supervisory experience.

Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or
related field required. MBA
a plus.

Ability to distill critical information
about target customers from large quantities of data.
-
Demonstrated ability to find creative
and insightful ways to generate market awareness.
-
Strong management skills with the
ability to manage budgets, successfully delegate and manage the
execution of assignments, and build effective inter-organizational
working relationships.
-
Excellent oral and written communication
skills. Strong strategic and
analytical skills.
