Job Description


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


•Develops and manages strategies for multiple Campaigns in partnership with Division staff and volunteers.
•Develops and conducts feasibility studies finding opportunities, identify campaign volunteer leadership, as well as training for staff involved in campaign initiatives.
•Maintains a constituent portfolio of qualified campaign prospects.
•Develops budgets as related to specific campaign needs, provides revenue projections and reports for related campaigns.
•Establishes policies, procedures, and quality control measures for all Distinguished Giving efforts; maintains appropriate account management and donor information is properly maintained.
•Manage, Direct in a Matrix Environment through Key Relationships with Executive Team & other senior divisional priorities
•Develops, writes and processes foundation grant applications; seeks new foundation funding sources through relationship building and networking; manages the grant-seeking process for the Division (at the foundation level)
•Supervises and directs to include approval of all grant applications; seeks new fundraising sources and manages all grant seeking processes for the South Atlantic Division.
•Leads by example, personally demonstrating the behaviors expected of staff throughout the Organization.
•Makes business based decisions; maintains accurate files, submits timely and accurate reports; meets timelines, follows through; develops/submits budgets; apprises supervisor of status; provides viable & innovative solutions to problems; attends meetings/trainings, adheres to approved policy/procedure, represents the organization in a professional manner; makes effective presentations
•Performs other duties as assigned
•Proactively and assertively addresses issues as they arise.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

Minimum Qualifications:


•Bachelor's degree and 7 years progressive successful experience in Campaign Development or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
•Experience working with donor cultivation, Major Gift solicitation, focused on campaign development
•Successful experience and demonstrated ability in managing high-level relationships
•Demonstrated success in leadership managing and developing Distinguished Giving staff, budget and progress.
•Reliable transportation required

•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Strong negotiation skills a must
