Capital Markets Trading Manager
Reports To: SR VP - Secondary Marketing Div.
SUMMARY
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent must be able to perform, with reasonable accommodation, the following essential functions:

Work with trading staff to develop and executive interest rate hedging strategies.
|

15% |
Assure that loan data is timely and accurately collected and reported to evaluate hedging strategy performance.
|

15% |
Work with trading and delivery staff to pool loans to investors within deadlines and finding of loans by investors are accurate.
|
|
10% |
Work with delivery staff to assure delivery of loans to investors within deadlines and findings of loans by investors are accurate.
|
|
20% |
Act as liaison with other areas of the mortgage company to determine pricing and product policies.
|
|
10% |
Negotiate agreements with Capital Market participants.
|
This position will also perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The required level of formal education for the
Capital Markets Trading Manager
is knowledge normally acquired by completion of 4 years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
The minimum amount of related work experience preferred is seven years and up to ten years.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Cross-discipline professional ability that requires advanced knowledge of theory and practice knowledge in a highly complex or technical professional field relevant to major segments of the company.
Position is frequently called upon to resolve controversies and to convince others to adopt a course of action, which may be contrary to their initial position. May require the ability to get agreement or persuade others by presentation in order to maintain or expand business relationships. Work is of the broadest
scope. Policy, procedures or precedent may be created and recommended by this position. Creates new approaches to deal with highly complex or unique problems. Independently establishes goals and objectives for the majority of work performed.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for a staff of 17 people performing tasks of registering loans with investors, negotiating terms of loan sales to investors, developing, and executing hedging strategies, and delivery of legal documents to investor in accordance to terms of sale agreements and assurance to the adherence of terms on $4 billion of loan annually.
Work involves interaction in situations requiring resolution of conflict or negotiation. Responsible for establishing procedures to ensure quality of internal customer service. The nature and types of contacts are

Physical effort and/or working conditions that are required less than 10% of the time is threat of physical harm.
