million entertainment related company seeks Chief Financial Officer.
Ideal candidate is a CPA who has also worked in private sector as a
hands-on, creative financial executive supporting the management team in
day-to-day decisions of a financial and overall business nature. The
successful candidate will be a strategic thinker to work closely with
the CEO, senior management and the Board of Directors. The CFO will have
operational savvy, leadership and team-building skills, be respected by
coworkers, serve as the ‘brake’ to entrepreneurial CEO, and
challenge every aspect of the business. They will be able to use
financial data and research to find market opportunities, and be able to
focus proactively on the future as well as handling reporting and
compliance areas with competence. Requirements: · BS or MBA in accounting or finance; CPA a plus. · Minimum seven years experience as Controller or CFO of a mid-size company with proven accounting management track record. · Demonstrated abilities in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, as well as financial controls, GAAP and financial system implementation. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Proficient with Excel, Power Point, MIS savvy.
