The director is responsible for managing those relationships and directing a staff of five business analysts to achieve performance and marketing objectives of the company web site and the web sites of the individual properties.

Strong project management is required to mange the outsourced vendor to deliver development projects ranging from implementation of the ATG content manager module to the complete translation of the web sites.

Strong communication skills are critical for accurately understanding the business needs of the varied stakeholders who rely on .com to fulfill operational initiatives.

Prior experience in understanding user on-line behaviors and personas is also required to be able to effectively scope projects related to rate and reservation processing.  A strong, professional demeanor is important to be able to immediately establish credentials and work relationships with peers and associates.

Marketing/Functional Expertise

·       Typically 5-8 years experience in web site project management and site organization.

·        Extensive knowledge in hotel reservation functionality and marketing strategies.

·        Advanced knowledge of analytical products and prior experience with project management/functional team coordination.

·        Prior experience in web site usability practices and strategies.

Business Understanding

·        Extensive understanding of web site related business system (sales and reservation process for hotels) cost structures and business sources for hospitality industry.

         Extensive knowledge of Central Reservation System and general database structure and function.

·        Advanced understanding of various web site technologies, including XML, Java, SQL, and HTML.

·        Prior experience with Art Technology Group Dynamo site platform.
