Executive Vice President, Operations Manager
This position requires an uncommon blend of skills and experience to manage an established national franchisor organization with over 200 operating locations. The successful candidate will have proven skills in strategic and tactical planning, organizing, leading and controlling all aspects of a rapidly growing national enterprise. Our franchisees establish customers and manage technicians for auto-related services through auto dealers, rental car companies and auto retailers (i.e. carwashes, lube centers and/or sales and service centers). Franchise or auto-related experience is a plus but not a requirement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Overall leadership of the company so that productivity goals and objectives are met and that full accountability to the CEO and Board of Directors is maintained.
2. Operational leadership over the following departments: Marketing, Recruiting, Equipping, Training, Mentoring, Contract Compliance, Accounting, Information Technology, Retention, Distribution, Research and Development.
3. Financial oversight and accountability over all accounting and budgeting functions.
4. Enhancement and enforcement of franchisee compliance agreements and service commitments.
5. Maintenance of close, productive, and resourceful relationships with franchisees.
6. Maintenance of high levels of customer service.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
The successful candidate must have at least ten years of successful financial/operations experience. Experience as COO/CFO and CPA certification is a definite plus. Inasmuch as this is a “hands-on” opportunity, the successful candidate must be able to function as effectively on the shop floor as in the executive suite.
