POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Remote Monitoring Center Manager is responsible for administering the Remote Monitoring Program for incorporated stores. This individual works in conjunction with corporate, region, and division Loss Prevention management to guide incorporated stores in investigations, training and addressing shortage-related issues. The Remote Monitoring Center Manager operates primarily out of the Remote Monitoring Center, located at the  corporate offices in Charlotte, NC.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Directs, supervises, and develops a team of Remote Monitoring Center Associates.
  • Conducts annual performance appraisals for Remote Monitoring Center Associates.
  • Supervises and trains corporate security personnel tasked with assisting in Remote Monitoring Projects.
  • Manages and responds to incoming calls from incorporated stores; conducts video surveillance of Remote Monitoring Locations.
  • Assists store and regional management with investigations related to internal and external theft.
  • Supports the execution of corporate, division, and region initiatives related to shortage reduction.
  • Tracks statistics and publishes regular reports related to key apprehension, operational, and shortage measurements for incorporated stores.
  • Regularly reviews Loss Prevention exception reports and communicates findings to stores within the Remote Monitoring Program.
  • Assists and directs store management in compliance with company policy and procedure related to external theft, including apprehension of shoplifters, case management, and case resolution.
  • Maintains business partnerships with third party vendors and local law enforcement representatives.
  • Plans, executes and oversees the addition of new Remote Monitoring Stores.
  • Administers software designed to track Remote Monitoring productivity.
  • Researches and communicates new technology solutions to  management.
  • Provides regular presentations to  management and third-party partners promoting the concepts, execution, and metrics associated with the Remote Monitoring Program.
  • Tasked with managing the continued evolution and performance of the Remote Monitoring Program, through applying new technology, policy and procedure, and other innovative efforts.

 

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education & Experience


Four year college degree and/or

Two years retail loss prevention experience

Intermediate working knowledge of Camera and Personal Computer Hardware installation, operation, and troubleshooting.

Intermediate working knowledge of PC software and business applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
