[Description] Attorney/Senior Attorney reports to the department head of the Bank's Litigation Management Department and is responsible for managing a portfolio of lawsuits asserted against the institution to their conclusion. The attorney serves as the defense team leader and directs/supervises the activities of outside counsel retained to defend the institution. In this role, counsel is required to analyze the merits of claims asserted by Plaintiffs, direct the investigation into the relevant facts and events giving rise to these claims, and to develop and implement an appropriate litigation strategy, along with outside counsel, to best protect the institution. Participate in all phases of a case, from commencement through discovery, motion practice and trial, if necessary. | ||
