Analyst will be responsible for the following accounting and
financial reporting requirements of the company and its
investment portfolios:
Prepare U.S. federal and state corporate and partnership
tax returns.
Prepare annual and semi-annual book-to-tax adjustment
analyses by examining the taxability of income and expenses
as related to Regulated Investment Companies.
Prepare annual, semi-annual and quarterly tax basis
calculations relating to shareholder disclosure in financial
statements.
Analyze annual, semi-annual and quarterly distribution
requirements specific to Regulated Investment Companies.
Prepare annual and semi-annual shareholder reports of
the mutual funds.
Prepare and provide timely information to external and
internal auditors.
Prepare financial data for certain IRS and SEC filing
requirements.
Special project as required.
Requirements: Ideal candidate will have a
high personal standard of excellence with a drive for results, a
great attitude and the following:
Accounting or Finance degree with two plus years of
accounting experience.
Corporate and partnership tax compliance experience
would be beneficial.
Excellent analytical, organizational and computer skills
with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be deadline oriented and manage workload
accordingly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Possess expertise in maintaining professional
relationships with internal and external contacts.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required, and
experience in MS Access preferred.
Occasional overtime may be required.
