Vice President Of Finance

Our client is a national leader in the court reporting industry, with offices in 17 cities with over $60 million in sales. We provide court reporting and related legal services to corporations, law firms and insurance companies. We are seeking a Vice President of Finance in Los Angeles to assist us in achieving our long-term growth objectives. This position is a senior leadership role reporting to the CEO. This person will be a significant participant in the design and implementation of overall financial strategies and the development of target growth, profit and operating objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in strategic growth initiatives, providing financial and business ideas, analysis and support.
• Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financials, perform variance analysis, explain issues and recommend actions.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports that summarize and forecast activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Prepare quarterly financial analysis presentation and present to the board of directors
• Perform due diligence and financial analysis on acquisitions
• Execute detailed financial analysis on assigned projects and determine additional projects by evaluating the needs of the business unit.
• Facilitate comprehensive and careful annual budgeting.
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable and associated line of credit
• Manage banking and other financial relationships

Professional requirements:
• 10+ years experience
• MBA
• Common sense
• Solid financial reporting, financial analysis, ERP systems and budgeting skills
• Polished presentation and communication skills
