Director of People Strategy (Human Resources)

People Strategy Director to support and serve as the Human Resource Business Partner for an assigned market. The primary responsibilities are in the Training & Development, Performance Manager, Recruiting, Compliance and Employee Recognition.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Partner with assigned Operations team to assess, anticipate and address all People Strategy needs.

  2. Provide input and direction on workforce and succession planning

  3. Responsible for performing the key open positions analysis and strategy planning with the Operations team to staff these roles.

  4. Partner with the Operations team to identify and interview candidates.

  5. Develop and nurture partnerships with key departments within the Home Office to offer support

  6. Manage, lead and reinforce assigned People Strategy initiatives such as Recognition, Onboarding/Employee Partner Right Start, training initiatives, talent management initiatives, etc. through a partnership with the Operations team.

  7. Have regular communication with General Managers to provide consult and assist with issues as they arise

  8. Collaborate with colleagues and other members of the People Strategy Department to develop policies, programs and solutions

  9. Mediate and resolve Employee Partner relations issues, conduct through and objective investigations, when necessary

  10. Work with the General Managers to find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships and boost productivity and retention

  11. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of Employee Partners, collaborate with the legal department when necessary

  12. Bachelor's Degree, Required

  13. 5+ years of broad based and progressing HR Management experience

  14. Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, Preferred

  15. PHR or SPHR, preferred

  16. Business partner with developed business acumen

  17. Excellent interpersonal skills

  18. Detail oriented with excellent time management and follow up skills

  19. Hands on professional, involved in all details and responsibilities

  20. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level or computer proficiency

  21. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
