Director of Internal Audit

The Internal Audit Director performs and manages audits of financial accounting and internal operational controls to ascertain compliance with internal policies/procedures and best practices. The Internal Audit Director aims to improve the organization's operations. Will communicate with executive management on audit results and provide reports on audit findings, root causes, and provide recommendations on areas for improvement in business process and internal controls to prevent/minimize future control risks

Our premier client is currently recruiting for a Director, Managed Care for our Central Region. This position has the primary responsibility of securing new contracts, creating strategic relationships within an assigned portfolio of accounts of the organization’s existing and targeted new Health Plan Managed Care Organizations, IPA’s, MSO’s, ACO’s and other entities holding risk for company services provided.  This position will also take the lead in targeted customer corporate level interfaces and manage all corporate level communication during contract negotiations.

The Visiting Research Collaborator position is a limited duration position, 2.5 years or less intended for a scientist that has some laboratory and/or clinical research experience and a background in biochemistry and/or molecular biology. This position will provide individuals with an opportunity to engage in cooperative research activities that promote the research goals of the organization. The process focuses on connecting their scientific background with research in order to design and implement a research strategy and effectively present his/her data in oral and written media, for the purpose, of submitting scientific publications. They will combine their scientific knowledge with laboratory procedures, basic research and lab maintenance in order to develop and test a clinical hypothesis. A Scientific Director or Principal Investigator supervises the Visiting Research Collaborator position.

Our Transplant Financial Review Rep determines approvals of patient evaluations, obtains medical records and forwards to insurance companies for transplant approval, and monitors transplant patients to update insurance documentation, attending physicians, authorizations, and providers.

Gastroenterology Physician

Our client Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible, fellowship trained General or IBD Gastroenterologist to join an outstanding 14 Gastroenterologist group practice in Central Texas. Advanced procedures (ERCP/EUS) are not required. An interest in IBD, women's health, luminal GI, Colorectal Cancer, reflux, nutrition or GI motility is preferred. We are a tertiary IBD referral center highlighted by 9 fellows, 2 other IBD MDs, 2 IBD NPs and 4 dedicated Colorectal Surgeons. We are looking for a gastroenterologist who is comfortable with clinical research including clinical trials, speaking at large internal medicine Grand Rounds and would be interested in teaching and working beside fellows and Advanced Practice Professionals every day. We practice team-based, multidisciplinary care of our complex GI patients and are looking for a hard-working, team player with a favorable work and/or training history.

Research Post Doctorate Fellow - GI Cancer (Dallas)

The Research Post Doctoral Fellow will periodically present seminars on his/her original work-in-progress and make informative presentation on scientific articles at Journal Club. The position of Research Post Doctoral Fellow is designed to be a 3-5 years duration, with the goal of developing young Scientists into independent Investigators. The process focuses on honing skills to design and implement a research strategy and effectively present his/her data in oral and written media for the purpose of obtaining grants and scientific publications.

Research Associate/Lab Manager

The Research Associate plans and organizes research projects under the direction of a Principal Investigator. The Research Associate coordinates and provides technical direction to research lab staff, analyzes data to determine next objectives, plans and organizes research projects and establishes procedures to be used in executing research studies, and coordinates and provides technical direction to the work activities of the project staff to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the project. In addition, the Research Associate analyzes, interprets, compiles and reports project results to Principal Investigator and ensures that all safety procedures and research protocols are understood and adhered to by research staff members.

Research Assistant

The Research Assistant I, under general supervision of the Investigator and Laboratory Manager, is an entry level position for an individual who will perform basic Lab techniques and general Lab maintenance that assists in the conduction of an Investigator's Research project. The Research Assistant I performs basic Immunology techniques such as pipetting, staining, preparing media, aliquoting, etc., according to the Laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures. The Research Assistant I must also demonstrate an aptitude for acquiring knowledge and new skills that relate to Immunology Research and the particular project on which he/she works.
