Global Manufacturing Process Manager, Center of Excellence

Function Overview:

The Center of Excellence (COE) Global Manufacturing Process Manager position will be accountable for the strategic direction, improvements, design, ownership, and training of critical business processes within Supply Chain and Operations which involve S4. This position will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Enterprise Governance and Continuous Improvement, IT, and the Finance organizations to define and align globally on singular work procedures for business-critical processes. The Global Manufacturing Process Manager is also responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining a Super User network in conjunction with line management.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and develop the COE Manufacturing Program Lead(s)

  • Own, develop, get approval for business cases via EGCI, IT, and other functional processes for any technical improvements to drive process and system improvements for Manufacturing processes.

  • Accountable for all Manufacturing Blueprint designs (Global, Regional, and Local) for Production, Quality, Tolling, Plant Maintenance, and all associated processes.

  • Accountability for the design, ownership, training, and job aide documentation for Production, Quality, Tolling, Plant Maintenance, and all associated processes within FMC. This is not limited to just systems, but the end-to-end process steps of which systems play an important role.

  • Accountable, in conjunction with Line Management, to develop and sustain a Super User network for Production, Quality, Tolling, Plant Maintenance, and all associated processes within FMC.

  • Utilize user feedback, continuous improvement, and external benchmarking to assess and improve critical business processes to ensure they are maintained up-to-date based on the changing external environment and business needs.

  • Develop, revise, and drive a 5 year road map for Manufacturing improvements both process and technical based on internal and external best practices

Required Education:

  • BS degree in engineering, technical, supply chain or related field.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing experience

  • 3+ years of Global Project/Supervising experience

  • Executed multiple global end-to-end project improvements as the lead or a project which was a multi-year implementation

  • Experience with SAP and BI in the areas of Production, Quality, Tolling, and/or Plant Maintenance

  • Previous Global experience either via direct supervision or via project leadership

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills to create effective interactions with multiple functional groups and levels of the organization. Includes the ability to present and sell ideas, plans and recommendations to senior leadership to gain alignment on proposed path forward

  • Proven experience in end-to-end process design, improvement, and executing process improvement projects at a global level

  • Proven experience in project management to manage driving project deliverables within budget across multiphase projects over long periods of time

  • Motivated, self-starter that can execute with minimal direction

  • Ability to develop credibility, maintain relationships and operate effectively with multiple levels of the organization

  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives at the same time

  • Ability to clearly articulate/discuss complex information with the site (all levels of the organization), discern their needs, and develop solutions to address those needs

  • Financial understanding and ability to complete routine cost / benefit analysis

  • Ability to travel International & US Travel approximately 25%
