Associate Principal, Life Science & Healthcare Strategy Consulting

As an Associate Principal, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead multiple consulting projects for clients in the life sciences or related industries. Your role will involve the following:

  • Managing project teams, consisting of both internal and external resources, to design, develop, and deliver client solutions.

  • Leading teams in reviewing and analyzing client requirements and challenges, and developing proposals that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction, with minimal senior management input.

  • Managing the proposal preparation and modification process, ensuring overall bid integrity.

  • Developing project plans with timelines and deliverables, and guiding projects to successful completion, on-time and on-budget, with limited senior management guidance.

  • Recommending improvements and alternative solutions to address problems.

  • Serving as the main point of contact with clients.

  • Providing high-level input for the development of client reports and presentations, and delivering findings to clients.

  • Identifying follow-on work and new leads to generate new business opportunities.

  • Conducting post-project follow-up with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

  • Actively enhancing subject matter expertise through on-the-job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums, and other professional knowledge-sharing forums.

  • Mentoring, coaching, and sharing subject matter expertise with others to elevate our ability to deliver exceptional solutions for clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in consulting, with a focus on life sciences industry, demonstrating career progression.

  • Prior experience in Healthcare Consulting is essential.

  • Strong ability to manage large and/or multiple projects, effectively handle competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.

  • Experience working in sizable, multi-disciplined teams and proven leadership skills in managing staff.

  • Proven track record of developing credible relationships with senior-level managers and executives in the life sciences industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations, chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, and writing business reports.

  • Strong academic background.

  • Familiarity with the APAC/Southeast Asia region.

  • Willingness and ability to travel for work.
