A leading mechanical contractor that specializes in HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm systems for multifamily residential projects. They’re seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Vice President to lead their Raleigh, NC operations and help drive continued growth in the fast-paced multifamily construction market.
About the Role:
The Regional Vice President will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations in the Raleigh region, with a focus on large-scale, ground-up multifamily developments. This role involves full P&L responsibility, strategic leadership, business development, and oversight of project execution and field operations. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with top general contractors and developers while leading internal teams toward operational excellence
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all regional activities related to multifamily HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm system installation
Direct oversight of operations, project management, field teams, and administrative staff
Maintain and grow relationships with key general contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders
Drive new business development and support preconstruction efforts for upcoming projects
Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability
Promote and enforce company safety culture, quality standards, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with executive leadership to align regional strategy with company goals
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
10+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry, with significant focus on multifamily residential projects
Proven leadership experience in a senior or executive role (Regional Manager, Director of Operations, etc.)
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm systems in wood-frame, podium, and wrap-style multifamily construction
Deep relationships with GCs and developers in the Southeast multifamily market
Excellent business acumen, with a history of managing P&Ls and achieving growth targets
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
