We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, creative and entrepreneurial individuals to fill a position on our Exploitation team.

This position will report to the Appraisal Manager and be located in Houston.

Responsibilities Include

Provide petrophysical engineering to support reservoir studies and performance evaluations focusing on efforts to optimize the development of Shale and other Unconventional Reservoirs. In addition, the candidate must communicate and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary reservoir management team to technically and commercially evaluate opportunities. The candidate should have a keen desire to creatively apply new and off the shelf technologies and workflows to reservoir characterization and reservoir/production monitoring.

 Requirements:

Bachelors or higher degree in a Geoscience or Engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years of Petrophysical Engineering experience within the oil industry.  Must possess broad petrophysical knowledge of both clastic and carbonate reservoir systems analysis utilizing classical petrophysical techniques

Be capable of providing experience in all aspects of open and cased hole log applications/interpretation and advanced core analysis.  Possess knowledge of major Petrophysical software packages applied in the industry for well and reservoir interpretation (e.g. Powerlog, Logic,IP)

 Must be current with the latest industry tools and petrophysical interpretation techniques working primarily with clastic reservoir systems

Familiarity with advanced methods of post core retrieval handling and analysis techniques

Demonstrated ability to design logging programs in complex reservoir systems, maximizing data acquisition.  Knowledgeable in petrophysical and geological analysis integration.
