Senior Revenue Cycle Improvement Consultant

The Senior Revenue Cycle Improvement Consultant identifies, plans, leads and implements revenue cycle re-engineering solutions. The Senior Revenue Consultant works with revenue cycle departments including, but not limited to HIM, Access Services, Centralized Business Services, Charge Description Master and various clinical departments to improve operation efficiency and revenue.

Below Are The Essential Functions For The Role.

  • Lead revenue cycle departments in the analytical components of workflow redesign and identify, create and implement improvement solutions revenue cycle related departments.

  • Monitor the performance of revenue cycle activities utilizing current monitoring tool sets and performance metrics; create and implement new performance metrics to address and manage new performance issues.

  • Lead revenue cycle activities including, but not limited to charge capture, technology planning, staffing assessments, operational improvement strategies and workflow optimization.

  • Analyze and identify trends in revenue cycle operations; use data to develop and implement process redesign solutions.

  • Assess the current capabilities of IT revenue cycle systems, create, and lead implementation of innovative revenue cycle IT solutions.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of revenue cycle operations and project management experience with strong communication, analytical, organizational and implementation skills. Healthcare consulting experience is preferred.
