Job description

The Director of Global Advocacy and Policy contributes to the organization’s mission by demonstrating passion in improving HIV policies around the world. The Director is a well experienced person in advocacy, possesses innovative ideas and excel in relationship building. S/he is people-oriented, has good listening skills, is creative and able to think out of the box. The position is globally based. The Director works with many individuals across all regions with different backgrounds and professions. Effective communication skills are required working with staff and partners when English is not their primary language.

The Director has the opportunity to advise and shape various HIV related initiatives, a chance for s/he to fight for equality and justice of the most-at-risk populations. The Director adds value to the Global Advocacy, Policy, Marketing, and Operations Team by applying their extensive experience in grass-root advocacy and connecting staff with the country teams in addressing pressing issues and/or new ideas/opportunities.

Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification Government & Military Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
