What You’ll Own
Strategic Leadership
Serve as a key advisor to ownership and executive leadership on financial strategy
Drive long-term planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
Evaluate expansion opportunities, capital investments, and potential acquisitions
Financial Performance & Profitability
Lead company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across trucking and logistics operations
Analyze profitability by customer, lane, and asset to drive better decision-making
Partner with operations to improve margins, utilization, and cost control
Cash Flow & Capital Management
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and lending structures
Optimize capital allocation across fleet, equipment, and infrastructure
Oversee debt, leasing strategies, and financial risk management
Operations Partnership
Work closely with operations leaders to align financial goals with day-to-day execution
Provide insight into fuel cost management, maintenance spend, and driver-related costs
Support data-driven decision-making across dispatch, routing, and capacity planning
Team Leadership & Infrastructure
Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
Create and strengthen financial systems, reporting, and internal controls
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across all entities

What You Bring
Experience
Demonstrated leadership in financial acumen
Experience in multi-entity or multi-location organizations
Technical & Strategic Skills
Strong financial model creation, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
Experience with banking relationships, debt structures, and capital planning
Ability to translate financial data into meaningful operational insight
Leadership & Style
Strong communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization
Comfortable operating in an organized yet fast-paced, evolving environment
Collaborative partner to operations—not just a back-office leader
Strong team builder, willing to dig into the details when needed
