Role Description
The Program Director (Site Director) Detroit will oversee the implementation and management of prevention education curriculum and outreach programs. This, on-site role is based in Detroit, MI, and involves building relationships with local stakeholders, facilitating educational programs, managing community partnerships, and coordinating awareness campaigns. Key responsibilities include program development, staff management, performance monitoring, and collaboration with local organizations and schools to expand impact in deterring human trafficking. The Program Director will also participate in fundraising efforts and advocate for policies that support education and prevention measures.
Qualifications
Program Development and Coordination: Experience in developing, implementing, and managing educational or social impact programs.
Community Engagement and Collaboration: Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with schools, local organizations, community leaders, and stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership, team-building, and staff management abilities to ensure program success and efficient operations.
Advocacy and Public Speaking: Skills in public speaking, advocacy, and community presentations to promote program goals and outcomes.
Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience in anti-trafficking, education, or social services is highly beneficial.
A Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration, or a related field is advanced advantageous.
