Our premier client is looking for a quality assurance superstar to work as a member of our growing team. Working with other QA engineers, you will perform a variety of QA tasks, including but not limited to building automated test scripts for each of our software applications using HP’s Quick Test Pro (UFT/QTP) and HP ALM – formerly Mercury and performing manual testing as needed. You will create test approaches and scripts to execute in UFT/QTP. The automated scripts will be used for automated regression testing. This position requires a self-motivated, dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Build manual test scripts for customer specific processes and functionality
- Use QTP/UFT to automate regression tests
- Create automated user based scenarios with variable data insertion
- Define standard regression and stress test approaches
- Work closely with other members of the QA team and developers, including working across teams and functional boundaries
- Report and track bugs and third-party issues with a high degree of detail
- Work independently and take initiatives to solve problems and QA challenges
- Be a dedicated team player, thriving as part of an overall, interdepartmental team
- Communicate issues, risks and test status in a timely, detailed manner
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years overall experience as part of a software QA team
- Minimum 3 years’ experience developing automated tests scripts using QTP
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of SQA experience and strong understanding of SQA methodologies and practices
- Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited software specifications and define automated testing strategies and test cases for assigned product components
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Must be very detail oriented
- DBMS / SQL
- SOA architecture familiarity a plus
- U.S. Citizenship required
