Sr. Area Sales Manager - Houston, TX US
The Area Sales Manager III builds and establishes relationships with clients to sell the company's products and ensure repeat business. Presents product features and benefits with customers, prepares bids for jobs, and negotiates prices. Seeks out potential customers and determines whether they have the means to buy the product. Builds and maintains good relationship with existing customers while continually seeking out new prospects. Collaborates with all departments to utilize the most efficient sales strategies possible.
Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell complex company products within a designated geographic territory or by nature of customers.
Focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
Develops product and market knowledge. Meets personal sales targets as established, focusing on moderate accounts with a complex product range.
Prepares more complex sales presentations, contracts, and proposals of moderate complexity.
Participates in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives which are complex in nature.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in related field
4 to 6 years related experience required.
