Vice President Revenue Cycle

The Revenue Cycle is defined as all functions that contribute to the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. The Vice President is responsible for the oversight and direction of all revenue cycle services, to include billing office support to all Physicians throughout the organization, through a cross-departmental organizational structure, and ensures that all processes are appropriately managed in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements and other guidance that mandates requirements governing such processes throughout the Northeast Texas region. The Vice President collaborates with other key functions; including health care center departments both clinical and administrative, regional finance and operations and corporate services to ensure effective and efficient process and maximizing the opportunity for successful outcomes. In addition, this position provides ongoing support to a professional staff to meet the expectations established for high quality customer service, payer relations, billing and regulatory compliance, and other established guidelines.

Education/Skills:

  • Master Degree in Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent business management experience required.

  • Must possess strong analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills required in order to educate, inform, develop documents, presentation materials, etc.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, customer support skills, and service orientation.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high stress operation with high standards of excellence.

  • Must be able to support and perform tasks in a manner consistent with business compliance standards.

  • PC skills in a Windows environment are required.

  • Must have practical knowledge of common office software applications, such as, Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.

Experience:

  • Eight to ten years' experience in managing multiple facets of an organization, including planning, budgeting marketing, human resources, finance and budgeting with P&L responsibility

  • Minimum ten years of healthcare patient accounting experience

  • Collection agency management experience

  • Strong systems knowledge

  • Consulting experience, patient account services, Business Office, collection agency, admitting and registration
