The Digital Media Manager contributes to organizations mission by helping the Director of Communications in requested areas of social media, communications, and digital innovation strategies. In this role, your main focus will be assisting in the development and creation of social media content for the foundation and its business lines.

The objective in this critical role is to ensure that AHF remains on the cutting-edge in communicating news, events, and trends via social media, as well as thoughtful stewardship of overall media image.

As a primary area of contribution, the individual in this role will manage specific areas of social media and digital efforts, undertaking sole leadership responsibility over various projects, including creating original content for social platforms as well as engaging with followers, staff and the public on poignant, topical news. The Digital Media Manager will be the social media liason for major national advocacy campaigns and communication efforts.

You will need to have a high level of creativity, ability to incorporate constructive feedback, and finely-honed writing and communications skills with the ability to identify, and then focus on achieving key goals in order to develop communications ‘voice,’ including our online, digital identity.

The Digital Media Manager will also assist the organizations Worldwide team by supporting several key marketing, communications and branding initiatives. In this role, the Digital Media Manager will also enhance communication by working closely with the marketing and global advocacy teams to infuse continuity and clarity into all social communications and activations to maintain a consistent ‘voice’ and position by enforcing the verbal and visual narrative and identity.

The Communications team will be enhanced by Digital Media Manager’s innovation on programs and experience, which builds the Foundation’s presence. This role will also help team members, clients and external stakeholders understanding of programs, projects and positions across multiple business lines.
