Head of Sales (Retail, Apparel & Lifestyle)

Apart from being an important hub for ocean business, it has a large and fast-growing Logistics and Services portfolio with: 700 Mn. revenues slated to cross the $ 1 Bn mark in the next 24 months. It currently has a complete suite of products and extensive investments in the areas of warehousing, cold chain logistics, ecommerce, and transportation including electric vehicles – all key components of our integrator strategy.

Our consultants are currently looking for a dynamic leader to head up our premier client’s Retail and Lifestyle portfolio. This is a position that is responsible for the largest vertical portfolio in the area and is a leader of leader positions with a large team of 20+ people. The customer base consists of several global leaders as part of the network accounts and many local control customers.

As head of integrated sales, the person will be accountable for understanding the customer needs and providing them with end-to-end integrated product solutions, delivering assigned sales targets, developing a world-class sales team and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction for the segment.

· Creates, articulates, and drives the sales strategy for the Retail and Lifestyle

· customer segment.

· Develop vertical level product propositions along with the product teams

· Leads and sets direction for the sales team to meet sales targets

· Ensures creation, management, and conversion of healthy sales pipeline to meet budgets

· Coach, performance manage, set targets and manage incentives for the team to Deliver NPS for segment customers. Actively maintains relationship with senior management of top accounts.

· Makes joint sales calls with sales representatives and channel managers. Ensures optimal activity management and account management.

This position offers a great opportunity for the incumbent to gain experience in managing a large customer portfolio and a large team, and can be a key steppingstone in stepping into larger management roles in the future.
