Vice President of Talent Acquisition Summary:

Our consultants are currently recruiting nationally for a Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Committed to going above and beyond and striving to acquire and retain the most unique and unprecedented talent in the loss prevention industry. The Vice President of Talent Acquisition, working out of Plano, TX and reporting to the Chief People Officer will help to align people, process and technologies using data from our people platforms to better manage our leadership effectiveness, and both our candidate and employee experiences.

Vice President of Talent Acquisition Daily Duties:

  • Evaluate TA processes, workflow, and results to create strategy for improved efficiency processes and metric analytics.

  • Build, plan, develop, and execute an effective recruiting strategy to support current and future high volume hiring needs.

  • Develop, define, evaluate, and report on key metrics for the Talent Acquisition function. Hold team accountable with appropriate performance coaching for measurable results.

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition data and insights initiatives by supporting strategic work-streams to include People Operations, Workforce Planning, and Finance with clear focus on continuous improvement.

  • Oversee a large, distributed talent workforce by creating strategic alignment for hiring forecasts and implementation.

  • Ensure candidates are screened for qualifications, cultural fit, and potential for upward mobility.

  • Oversee recruiting bench activities to create an organized pipeline of candidates.

  • Support Recruiter(s) in interviewing new hires when necessary, scheduling new hires appropriate to client standards, and assist with onboarding processes as needed.

  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting to support evolving business needs in critical areas including new account startups and support of quarterly business reviews for existing clients.

  • Implement measures to reduce turnover.

  • Oversee integrity and consistency of TA systems, processes, and policies, to meet organizational, regulatory, or legal requirements.

  • Develop and Manage relationships with Recruiting Services and Platforms.

  • Maintain standards relative to overtime performance and shift vacancies through effective forecasting with available pipelines.

  • Provide forecast data trends to allow for enhanced proactive solutions supporting informed decision making for business needs.

  • Share data and reporting in a compelling and easy-to-understand method for business groups and users.

  • Establish scientific method of review for sourcing capabilities using job boards, open houses, career fairs, and other passive techniques to generate strong pools necessary for high volume recruiting.

  • Monitor candidate pools and work with senior leadership in talent acquisition on critical conversion to hire metrics that may require enhanced efforts for available talent.

  • Work collaboratively with the workforce management team to identify people trends, staffing needs, and bench requirements.

  • Respond with urgency to internal requests.

  • Support training initiatives for management and talent teams as required.

Vice President of Talent Acquisition Requirements:

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR certification preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of full cycle recruiting experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence others while developing positive relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Technical experience with ATS and strong knowledge of utilizing social media to support recruitment efforts. Kronos experience preferred.

  • Experience recruiting for startups preferred

  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.
