This position provides overall management and oversight of the Human Resources and Training departments for Senior Services and their effectiveness and impact on approximately 2,000 current employees and multiple communities. This position is a key contributor to the strategic and operational components of the organization in the current operation as well as future development of the company. It also serves as a business partner to the senior leadership team as the Harmony footprint continues to grow with multiple states of operation.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Labor/Employee Relations leads on labor relations issues. The AVP will develop, plan, coordinate and supervise the Labor/Employee Relations program for the entire campus. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Ensure the interpretation and consistent administration of the State collective bargaining agreements for UUP, CSEA, PEF, and NYSCPBA. Build and maintain relationships with all campus constituents to facilitate the successful management of the responsibilities of the office.

Acts as the primary strategic business partner to the management team and contributes to the overall business planning and development process.
